Lykkeshøj Forest is a newly planted woodland that was established in 1990-93. This 20 ha. forest safeguards the area's groundwater and is a recreation spot for nearby residents. A variety of deciduous trees (beech, oak, ash, linden and maple) and scots pine have been planted, encouraging the development of a rich flora and fauna. Marked riding trails and paths for walking and biking wander through the forest. You will also find fire pits and shelters for camping, which you can use free of charge.
